Dunny + Peeps! Dunneeps!!! Perfect for Easter! I’m drooling over these. Drooling! Motorbot is quickly becoming a favorite great toy customizer! I love these.
Tristan Eaton is very quickly becoming one of my favorites out of the art and design world.
I know that everyone and their mother is still talking about Shepard Fairey. But whatever! There are more street artists out there. This is not a repsonse to Fairey’s work. Tristan aton and Shepard Fairey were both working to help promote Obama’s champaign at the same time.
Check out this interview he had with Knight Pulse. He comments on all the buzz surrounding Fairey and his work. He brought up points and information that I didn’t know yet. Like the fact that the piece was given to the Obama campaign. Fairey made no money off of this piece. It’s a bit silly to sue him then.
This is amazing. I REALLY want one of these. But knowing me, I’d print some valuable information and eat it and not remember what it was or end up not finishing my bread and have either a homeless person or a rat/pigeon would steal my social security number.
I’d love to print hilarious pictures of myself or friends and have a picnic. Or print.. THIS SANDWICH BELONGS TO SAMANTHA. DON’T EAT IT. THANKS.
And the list of possibilities goes on… but printing on food really opens up a lot of possibilities. I wonder how artistic people would get with bread.
This is a great idea and I hope see it in stores soon. I enjoy the fact that it is a rounded backed chair and a round table rather than a square. I am (and I’m sure most other people are) tired of only finding square or rectangular folding furniture. I love the way the table folds. These pieces great and now more stylish way for a small space. I vote yes.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I watch almost equal amounts of CNN to Cartoon Network. I love cartoons. Yes… I am an adult. Really! I always have and always will. Currently my favorites from Cartoon Network are The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Chowder, Froster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, and I even like the Ben 10 Alien Force.
Also, anyone who knows me, knows that I have a certain fondness for toys. I have an ever growing collection of designer vinyl figures. I’m a Kidrobot fan.
I love this campaign that Cartoon Network has had for a few months now. They are using Tristan Eaton’s Noods figures as a base. It really brings a great uniformity for the channel. They have so many different shows that its really great to see them all together. They create the Cartoon Network family.
It’s fun. I love the colors. Capacity is the motion design studio that has been working with Tristan’s figures. It’s great. Very current and clean. Great energy and I think it’s really impressive to bring so many different characters and animation styles together in one uniform way without damaging or misrepesenting the originals.
Now I just wish they would actually produce and sell these figures. I would love to add them to my collection.
I love finding really unique pieces of jewelry. I am a HUGE fan of necklaces. My ears are gauged so I can’t really wear earrings. Bracelets tend to get in the way of when I’m working or typing. Rings are wonderful but I just haven’t found too many great ones. But necklaces… I have quite the collection.
I found this “3d ghost ship” necklace while browsing through 80spurple.com. It was designed by Han Cholo(a pretty cool site!). I’m in love. It’s beautiful and I love that it has a little anchor too! Too bad this necklace $525.
I am in love with this ring. When I was in art school a girl I knew who was a jewelry major was making sliding rings… I was fascinated! The stone can slide back and forth with no fear of it falling out. It’s nifty. I love motion incorporated into jewelry. This silver moving stone ring is $198.
Also while browsing this site… I’m adding these jewelry piece on my “Oh man, if I had loads of money…” dream list.
Visit 80’s Purple. I have fallen in love with this site.
I can’t say that I dislike George Lucas. At all. There are things that I haven’t really agreed with or liked but I have never thought that he ruined anything or took things too far.
The last Indiana Jones is an exception to all this… because that just went way too far. It was the monkeys. And the ants. –But I still enjoyed it because I love Indy. Temple of Doom was amazing! I have fond memories of watching Indiana Jones movies with my mom.
I love Star Wars. Like… love.
A week or two ago Star Wars Gallaxies… the Star Wars MMORPG… emailed me asking me to come back and reclaim my house and my character and whatever else I left when I stopped playing after the trial period or something. It was cute.
I love Darth Vader. Like… love… because I strongly associate with him. Hah!
Lucas has created so much for the world… the geeky world. We should be thankful because without him, what would we obsessed with? I think it’s really interesting to find that some people are really that pissed with him. Hello? He brought us the Jedi. He gave us the force. He has influenced entertainment, technology, how we think about the future, and the list goes on…
And need I have to add that he did Willow on top of everything else. That movie was great!
“Throw the balls into vacant lots, pavement cracks, long-standing rubbish piles, or anywhere that would benefit from a bit of random greenery.”
I think this is an amazing idea!! I’ve dreamed about randomly throwing seeds around. My inner hippy likes to dream about center medians on the roads being covered in wild flowers instead of cigarettes and fast food wrappers. But I’ve wondered about the legality of doing this before.
Could planting trees and flowers seemingly randomly be considered vandalism? I understand that it’s not right to disrupt other people’s property, but in this day and age would it really be that bad to see some new trees growing or some new flowers? Would you really get mad if sunflowers started popping up in your yard?
I dig this. I see myself making a few of these once the weather gets warmer.

Aimée Wilder is a designer who makes awesome wallpaper. I love her playful designs and her color palettes. The only issue I’d have with these designs, is picking one.
Cute and clever way to make your tea. Shark attackkkk!
For this, you need clear glass tea cups for the full effect.
It’s like JAWS but delicious and not so scary.
i don’t eat chocolate. i just have never liked it. (iapos;m strange. one in a million) when it comes to deserts, i tend not to have many options. but these cupcakes are amazing.
best cupcakes i have ever had in my entire life. ultimate favorite. they are not too sweet. the frosting is butter cream vanilla… i can never buy just one.
basically, blood would easily be spilled if you got between me and my cupcakes.
This shirt is very cool. I’m really digging it. I think it might just be the big blocks of type that’s really making this shirt stand out to me. I’m interested to see how legible the text will actually be on the fabric. In general, I think this is a really cool “token” of our current politics.
