NY Arts Magazine

My art director and I redesigned and restyled quite a bit today. There’s so much that I still want to change. But it’s getting better. The banners are so annoying. But some things, you can’t change… like your boss.

How do you make someone realize that the year is 2009 not 1998?

Banner Attack.

hi. it’s 2009, right?

i just want to say that i am not a fan of banner ads. i am especially not a fan of hundreds of banner ads. i am sad to say that part of my job is doing whatever my publisher, who i think is stuck in the 1990’s when it comes to the internet, asks of me. it’s a job, and for now i’ll do it even though i think it’s awful. it’s things like this that just bother me most about my job.

making it up now

Because the clock has struck midnight, it’s not Monday. My first day of work at NY Arts Magazine. I have my two internships still, the second starting for the first time this week. Seriously, this should prove to be a very exciting and trying week.

I’ve been taking more photos lately, which always makes me happy. As much as I love design, I just feel so comfortable and happy behind a camera.
I just bought another 1TB hard drive. I was really beginning to run out of space. So now I have over 3TB of hard drive space… Never enough.

Hello, I’m 22. I’ll be commuting 5/7 days to NYC from NJ. My heart belongs in the city.
I really can’t say where or what I really want to be doing in the city for work… design, print, web, photography… but I know I’ll find out.

this is long overdue.

and I apologize.
I’m claiming more space on the internet. I’m miss the ‘good old days’ of web celebrity stardom. So here I go again, adding another blog to the internet. This has taken entirely too long to bring back to life. After a few years hiatus, pixelmurder.net is back in full force( and hopefully soon, I will be too!).
I’m going to really try to do the 365 day photo project. I can only show you what I see.
