The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

Google is celebrating 40 years of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This was one of my favorite books as a child. In first or second grade my teacher gave me a copy of this book. I love it. It’s beautiful. Now that I think of it, my love for collage could have started from there. Thank you Eric Carle!

i love this piece and the rest of the evolution of love series(there is 3 in the set). the general pose is cliche, but the gesture is refreshed. there’s a lot of energy and a lot of love there. this is not your grandma’s porcelain.
